Andrew Rosen is an assistant to Michael Feinberg Esq. but doesn’t have power over the Phila School Reform Commission and lost his mind on Jan.9 at the State Building at Broad & Spring Garden avenue. Fear is my Strength

The definition of recovery is to return to a normal state of mind and strength. Since I started on the road to overcoming my sexual abuse 8 years ago I have worked tirelessly toward obtaining that recovered stage. During this time I have felt weak, emasculated, shame, strong, empowered, angry, confused and sometimes I felt them all at the same time. Usually, it cycles through. Matt Damon TOLD E! ONLINE that he’s returning to the role of Jason Bourne with Paul Greenglass again directing.

The movie would be made next year for a 2016 release, according to the E! Online interview. Does that mean we’ll once again get some James Bond “trash talk”?

Damon made three Bourne movies from 2002 to 2007: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. The latter two were directed by Greenglass.

In the 2000s, Damon wasn’t shy about criticizing Bond. For example, there’s this 2009 quote from a Miami Herald interview via The Huffington Post.

How could I have confessed to procedurely helping to deny an innocent child of his civil rights and not be persecuted by local police,state attorney general’s office who have a signed confession or the feds. I see why racism has taken a longtime to die in this country. The system condones the wrong you do when you have a little bit of authority. A couple of weeks ago the Barna Group came out with their most recent survey that should have created shockwaves across the community of faith in this nation.  According to the results published by Barna (which can be found HERE), the purpose of the survey was as follows:

In this nationwide study of self-identified Christians, the goal was to determine whether Christians have the actions and attitude of Jesus as they interact with others or if they are more akin to the beliefs and behaviors of Pharisees, the self-righteous sect of religious leaders described in the New Testament.

Here are the results: 51% of self-proclaiming Christians surveyed resembled the Pharisees in attitude and action.  35% resembled the Pharisees in either attitude or action, and only 14% resembled Jesus both in attitude and action.

The bottom line? Christians in the United States are more like the Pharisees than they are…

Recently I watched the 1973 film Serpico, part of the Turner Movie Classics run-up to the Oscars. For those who consider 1973 to be prehistory, the film stars Al Pacino as Frank Serpico, a New York City policeman who exposes widespread corruption in the N.Y.P.D. It’s based on a true story.

Ever sensitive to dialog—particularly dialog that involves laundry—I noted the following exchange. It takes place when Serpico tells Captain McClain that he has reported the police corruption to an official agency outside the police department:
